Rapper Kid Cudi had an altercation with a fan Friday night at a concert he gave in Vancouver. The G.O.O.D. Music artist jumped off stage and over the barricades to punch a fan who he believed to have thrown a wallet on stage just moments before. Talk about highly unnecessary.

Not only was Cudi DTM (doing too much), the guy he punched wasn’t even the person who threw the wallet.

Fortunately for Cudi, the fan, later identified as Michael Sharpe, asserts he will not press charges.  According to Sharpe, Read the rest of this entry »

North Miami former teacher, Gregory Higgs (pictured above) is charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of his ex-boyfriend, high school teacher Charles Brown. Higgs, 53, was in a seven-year relationship with Brown, 54, before Brown broke it off for unknown reasons earlier this year. After the breakup, Higgs had resorted to sending Brown’s family nasty emails demanding answers over the breakup. He even sent threatening emails to Brown’s work and letters to the Miami-Dade County School Board.

In the afternoon on December 3rd, neighbors witnessed a later-identified Higgs waiting in Brown’s apartment hallway and called the police. Neighbors again called the police when they witnessed Higgs stabbing Brown to death. Neighbors even Read the rest of this entry »

Rapper Nas appeared on CNN in an interview with Don Lemon to discuss the impact of rap music on children and his open letter to youth following the deadly beating of Chicago teen Derrion Albert.

When asked by Lemon if he feels violent lyrics influence kids to act violently, Nas answered “never” and explained “violence and war is the things that built this country,” even going on to say “a rap song in the 21st Century influencing violence is a joke.”

However, he agreed with the belief of Derrion Albert’s mom that pop culture, movie and rap had some influence on those kids to act out that day.
