In downtown Cleveland, Ohio I had the opportunity to interview up and coming producer/songwriter, Lady Trauma.  Born Tara Lee Jenkins, Lady Trauma has the streets of Cleveland saying, “Damn a girl did that?” Catching the ear of Dru Hill’s Nokio, Lady Trauma has recently signed a deal with Nokio’s Audio Revolution Group and has been affiliated with the likes of Jim Jones and power couple, Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys.  After a near brush with death, Lady Trauma speaks on how she has overcome her own personal trauma and her upcoming compilation “Welcome 2 Tha Trauma Unit, Vol. 1”. For all my old heads out there that remember the 80s hit t.v. series “Fame,” MTV comes with an updated version, “Taking the Stage.” This new reality show, which airs tomorrow night at 10 p.m. ET/PT, takes place in Cincinnati at the School for Creative and Performing Arts.  Sound familiar?!

This group of talented kids consist of dancers, choreographers, singers, and songwriters, all clamoring to achieve fame and success.
