The Queen of the Fashion Game, Rihanna, simply shut down the latest cover (July 2010) of ELLE magazine. Who else better to cover their Women In Music issue besides Ms. Rated R herself? Rihanna definitely sizzles on the cover and it’s straight FACE she’s giving that makes it a hit for me. Besides the fact the styling is AMAZING, but would we expect anything less from Riri? After several episodes and endless dates, TLC member Chilli has still not found what she wants in an man on her VH1 reality show, “What Chilli Wants.” Upon the urging of dating coach Tionna Smalls, Chilli paid a visit to a therapist to discuss her relationship issues. The therapy session turned out to be VERY revealing.
Chilli opened up about her abortion while with producer Dallas Austin, which left her in tears everyday for nine years. While carrying with her the fears of losing herself again, she next relationship was with R&B singer Usher.

After past successful runs, Cheril N. Clarke’s hit play Intimate Chaos returns to the stage, but this time in Plainfield, New Jersey. The urban dramedy explores heterosexual/homosexual friendship dynamics and the romantic relationship between two headstrong women and their roller coaster, emotional ride.
Clarke, long known for her activism in the gay community, is passionate about bringing to life the real stories of gay men and women, whom she believes are too often either patronized or simply left out of main stream theatre and film.

Joy Behar suffered an extreme case of foot-in-mouth disease on Tuesday’s (January 26) episode of The View, as she shared her understanding of gay relationships. During the “hot topics” segment, Behar shared her belief that “they [the gay community] don’t take monogamy and infidelity the same way that the straight community does…if they have an affair, some one night stand… even though they’re in a committed relationship… they don’t break up the relationship the way straight people do.”

North Miami former teacher, Gregory Higgs (pictured above) is charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of his ex-boyfriend, high school teacher Charles Brown. Higgs, 53, was in a seven-year relationship with Brown, 54, before Brown broke it off for unknown reasons earlier this year. After the breakup, Higgs had resorted to sending Brown’s family nasty emails demanding answers over the breakup. He even sent threatening emails to Brown’s work and letters to the Miami-Dade County School Board.
In the afternoon on December 3rd, neighbors witnessed a later-identified Higgs waiting in Brown’s apartment hallway and called the police. Neighbors again called the police when they witnessed Higgs stabbing Brown to death. Neighbors even Read the rest of this entry »
