Greetings BGG Readers!  Soul here with the latest installment of Soul Wants To Know. Just some thoughts on the past week of all things celebrity and more.

So here we go…

1.  Why in the hell is everyone acting like Pink is the world’s best performer? Anyone can get up on a trapeze and all. NO ONE CAN DO WHAT QUEEN B DOES!! I REPEAT NO ONE….
2.  And speaking of the GRAMMYs, how in the hell did Beyoncé win 6 GRAMMYs and not album of the year? Taylor Swift’s live performance was absolutely the worse I’ve ever seen and if that’s any indication of her album Fearless, then the Grammy powers that be need to snatch that award back.

The Video Music Awards (VMAs) aired last night (September 13) on MTV live from Radio City Music Hall in NYC. And while many viewers tuned in to see Janet Jackson’s tribute to Michael, the award show audience and audience at home got that and so much more. Last night’s award show had no shortage of head scratching moments, from Kanye snatching the mic from Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech to Lil Mama crashing the stage during Jay-Z and Alicia Keys performance of “Empire State of Mind.” In short, folks were showing their ass last night.

So for those of you who may have chosen to tune into HBO’s True Blood instead, here’s what you missed. The Michael Jackson tribute kicked off the festivities when Madonna opened the show with a nearly 10 minute monologue of what Michael Jackson meant to her and was rounded out with a performance by Janet Jackson. Janet’s performance was amazing as she danced with her brother one last time while Michael’s “Scream” video, which she originally appeared in, played in the background. Pink is now disputing statements that came out in a recent interview she did with UK News of the World. In the interview, she was quoted as saying, “I’m not embarrassed about being bisexual. This is who I am.”

Well, it seems now her representatives are claiming the singer’s words were made up and the quotes were “entirely fabricated.”

Pop singer Pink recently sat down with the UK’s News of the World for an interview wherein she discusses her lady loving tendencies.

Pink, although a known advocate for LGBT rights, in the past denied ever romantically being with a woman.  Just this past October she stated, “I’m not gay so I guess I would not try a relationship with a woman.”  However, in her News of the World interview, she reveals:  Read the rest of this entry »

Mariah Carey is ready to make Nick Cannon a daddy.

According to the NY Daily News, “The pop superstar has prematurely dropped $200K on furniture, including a pink crib and highchair, from a children’s store in San Francisco for the new Hollywood home she intends to buy with hubby Nick Cannon.”

I wonder how “prematurely” this purchase really is. Could there be more than butterflies in her stomach for Nick?
