1. Why in the hell is everyone acting like Pink is the world’s best performer? Anyone can get up on a trapeze and all. NO ONE CAN DO WHAT QUEEN B DOES!! I REPEAT NO ONE….

2. And speaking of the GRAMMYs, how in the hell did Beyoncé win 6 GRAMMYs and not album of the year? Taylor Swift’s live performance was absolutely the worse I’ve ever seen and if that’s any indication of her album Fearless, then the Grammy powers that be need to snatch that award back.

Comedian-actress Mo’Nique has reportedly been sporting a bad attitude and diva-like demands in response to requests by film producers to promote her upcoming movie, “Precious.” Mo’Nique, who has been getting Oscar buzz for her performance in the film, was an obvious no show at the New York Film Festival premiere Saturday night (October 3). Mo”Nique allegedly refused to promote the film at the Toronto Film Festival without an $100,000 appearance fee.
According to an industry source, “that money didn’t even include hair and makeup costs. She also demanded that her glam squad fly first class. Apparently, she’s ignorant to how the Hollywood system works.”

Back in 2006, it was rumored Beyonce and Eva Longoria would play lesbian lovers in the big screen version of “Tipping The Velvet,” an adaptation of the Sarah Waters novel of the same name. Back then, there were quotes swirling around of Eva confirming talks of making the film and Beyonce saying after “Brokeback” it was time this novel get the same treatment. Eventually reps for both of the stars shot down the rumors and Beyonce’s spokesperson told People mag, “this is not happening. We’ve never heard of this film.” Well, I guess she got word. According to Beyonce’s IMDB page, she’s somehow associated with the film that’s currently in development.
If Beyonce does in fact star in the film, I would be interested to see how she pulls it off. Tipping the Velvet, originally adapted in 2002 as a TV movie on London’s BBC network, is a graphic coming of age story dealing with sexual Read the rest of this entry »
