July 20th, 2010Celebrities, Music, Whitney Houston
I don’t believe this one. According to the National Enquirer, a source close the Whitney Houston is coming clean (no pun intended) about the living legend’s drug problem that she claims is still ongoing. Not only is she alleging the singer is back on that white stuff, but that she spends approximately $327,600 a year on the habit.
The source is further alleging Houston was “high as a kite” during her interview with Oprah where she made claims to of being drug-free.

June 30th, 2010Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Celebrities, Queen Latifah, Rihanna, Soul Wants To Know
Well this has certainly been an eventful week in the world of entertainment. The BET Awards have come and gone. Beyonce and Rihanna could have cared less apparently. Queen Latifah came out… ummm, I think. I’m a bit confused. And I am going to attempt to not talk about how annoying Keri Hilson’s leopard dress was and that SHAMEFUL attempt at a Rihanna cut. BGG readers bare with me cause I know this edition is not gonna be pleasant.
I mean I’m no chick, but I’m Still Bad… Read the rest of this entry »

May 7th, 2010Celebrities, Fashion, Kerry Washington, Oprah
The annual Met Ball took place earlier this week (May 3). Held at the Metropaliteon Museam of Art, the Costume Institute Gala Benefit celebrates the opening of the “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity” exhibition. Hosted by Oprah Winfrey, Anna Wintour (Vogue Editor-in-Chief), and Patrick Robinson ( Head designer of Gap INC), the event dubbed” the Oscars of Fashion” brought out all of Hollywood and then some. The celebs brought their fashion best to fashion’s biggest night and while most sizzled on the red carpet others indeed fizzled terribly. You be the judge! Read the rest of this entry »

May 7th, 2010Celebrities, Diddy, Oprah, Usher
So all the fun didn’t end at the Met Ball. It continued to the after party at the Mark Hotel. Who would’ve thought The Big ‘O’ would have been jammin’ with Pharell, Diddy, Usher, and others. From the pic it looks as if the guest had a great time. Of course I love any great event in the name of Fashion, so this is definitely a moment. Oprah of course served as one of the co-chairs to this year’s Met Ball, which was all about the American Woman. If Oprah Winfrey does not define the American Women, then no women does. April 21st, 2010Celebrities, Mo'Nique, Oprah
Now I can’t say I didn’t see this one coming. It looks like actress-comedian Mo’Nique is now pissed at how the interview with her molester-brother Gerald Imes, and other family members, went down on Oprah’s show this past Monday (April 19). Although it’s true Mo’Nique gave her blessing for the interview to occur, she wasn’t happy at how unsympathetic the family was towards her and now their relationship is worst than ever.
A source close to Mo’Nique revealed Read the rest of this entry »

April 19th, 2010Mo'Nique
Today’s episode of Oprah was compelling TV indeed. The Queen of Daytime TV had as her guest, comedian Mo’Nique’s older brother Gerald Imes, who the Oscar-winning actress has referred to as her “monster.” When asked what she drew on in her role as Mary Jones in the film Precious, Mo’Nique candidly revealed her older brother molested her as a child. Gerald finally took responsibility for the heinous act on Oprah’s show today.
“I’m here today to first acknowledge what I’ve been in denial for for 37 years, and that is I did assault and inappropriately touch my sister in manners that were uncomfortable for her,”said Imes. “And for that, Read the rest of this entry »
