The NYPD search for super model Naomi Campbell for assaulting her limo driver has been called off less than 24 hours after the incident. Just yesterday we told you the supermodel was on the run after she slapped her 27 year-old limo driver in the face and fled the scene.

This morning, however, it’s reported the search has been called off after the driver, Miodrag Mejdina, decided not to press charges against Campbell. Mejdina, who is employed by Campbell’s married billionaire boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, was treated for him injuries, which included bruising and swelling under his eye.

Back in 1994, there was a big scandal over an NYPD cop who was fired for posing nude in an August 1994 issue of Playboy. Well that former officer, Carol Shaya is back in the news, but this time she’s the one in need of a uniform in blue.

Shaya recently filed a request for a restraining order against her ex-girlfriend, Jessica Phillips, alleging she was the victim in a heated altercation between the two.

It seems as though the incident erupted last month when Shaya’s then live-in girlfriend, Phillips, allegedly turned violent when Shaya tried to break up with her.
