Tyler Perry has began production on his new film, “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf” in New York City. Just weeks prior, Mariah Carey dropped out of the film on her doctor’s advisement.
Just yesterday (June 3), Backpage.com, the online version of the popular classifieds for actors, posted a notice casting calls are going on right now in New York and Atlanta for the film. Click here to check it out.

Tyler Perry’s new film “Why Did I Get Married Too?” premiered at the School of Visual Arts Theater last night (March 22nd) in New York City with the full cast in tow for this red carpet event.
Early that morning, Janet and Tyler sat down with Meredith Viera of the “Today Show” to discuss the film and Janet’s treatment on set following her brother’s death.
“Why Did I…2″ opens in theaters on April 2nd.

The Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC) held its annual Fashion Forward event Monday night (November 16) at the Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC. It was a night of cocktails, a runway show by Saks Fifth Avenue, featuring Burberry, Diesel, Dolce and Gabbana, Gucci, Michael Kors, Marc by Marc Jacobs, and Alexander McQueen, just to name a few and all sorts of fabulosity.
The event was hosted by none other than Tim Gunn of Project Runway. A few other celebrities in attendance included: ANTM judges, Miss J, Nigel Barker, and Jay Manuel, talk show host Wendy Williams, Erin Lucas, Sara Dash, John Bartlett and Sean Palmer.
