Actor, model, and world-renowned drag performer Rupaul Andre Charles, better known as simply RuPaul, has been credited for bringing the art form of drag performance into mainstream acceptance. Born in San Diego, California, RuPaul gravitated to the arts and theater from the time he was in high school. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia when he was 16 years old and often claims “Hotlanta” as his home.

Last year was a dramaful one for MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” judges. First you had Lil Mama’s inappropriate comments to Leiomy of Vogue Evolution crew. Then, there was Shane Sparks arrest and indictment on child molestation charges later in the year.
Well, it seems as though show producers seek to inject new blood into the show by bringing R&B singer Omarion on board as a judge to take over Shane’s seat.
In choosing a replacement for Sparks, one show creator admitted “we were looking for a judge who could understand what the crews go through when they get on stage and perform.”

Noah’s Arc, the groundbreaking dramedy about four African-American gay friends and their partners handling issues from marriage, to HIV, to parenthood, is back on the air tonight. And no, before you get to thinking it’s a new season, unclutuch your pearls, for that’s just wishful thinking, but keep reading. It will air tonight on MTV LOGO at 10pm starting from the 1st episode and will continue to air every Wednesday night.
Now before you check out because you probably own both seasons on DVD, as you should. Tuning in is a good thing. Once the people over at LOGO see we desperately miss Noah and friends, they may come to their senses and bring the show back on the air.
