I’m sorry, but did hell freeze over and I didn’t get the memo?!

To my shock and amazement, rapper Eminem, who’s notorious for his homophobic lyrics in the past, threw support behind gay marriage in a recent interview with the New York Times.

A Lansing, Michigan gay teenager was the victim of harassment based on her sexual orientation from a surprising source – her bus driver. Chinea Larkin told the media “when I got off the bus, I stood up and was about to get off the bus, she was like, now you can get your gay self off my bus. Well, she said get your gay tail off my bus.”

A fellow student on the bus, Charles Williams, used his cell phone to capture video of the bus driver telling Chinea “hopefully you and your little girlfriend don’t get lost in your unsaved life.”

Chinea and her parents filed a complaint against the bus driver for her actions with the school district. The driver has been put on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation by the district’s public safety department.

An HIV-positive gay man from Michigan is set to stand trial for biting his neighbor during a fight and using HIV as a weapon. Daniel Allen from Clinton Township, Michigan admitted to reporters that he is HIV positive and he did bite his neighbor Winfred Fernandis, Jr., but contends it was out of self-defense. Fernandis fought back the tears when Fox 2 news broke the news that his neighbor is HIV positive and denies that he is homophobic.

Fernandis has been put on anti-retro viral drugs since the fight.
