In a recent post-jail interview, the self-proclaimed King of the South, rapper T.I., spoke with CNN’s T.J. Holmes about his latest projects and discusses whether he could see himself as a rapper at age 40.

“I’m not going to be the 40-year-old rapper. I would not,” T.I. said. “That’s Jay. He’s doing it very well. Hats off, but I don’t see me doing it. I just don’t see that for me. “

The two most powerful African-American couples in the world – Will Smith & Jada Pinkett-Smith and Beyonce & Jay-Z – have joined forces in the name of the arts. With both couples producing ‘Fela!,’ it was only fitting that the couples joined to celebrate the musicals’ 11 Tony Award nominations at the post-theater reception at The Palm in NYC.  This photo screams wealth, power, strength, and success – just that long money.  There’s not much to say but WOW. While having fun in the sun and sand with family including hubby Jay-Z and nephew Juelz in Hawaii, Beyoncé narrowly avoids a serious wardrobe malfunction. Photos from that day show her left boob attempted to soak up some rays as well.

Malfunction averted, Beyoncé continued to enjoy the day, even being buried in the sand by her nephew.

Jay-Z surprised the crowd at the 2010 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (Indio, California) when he brought out wife Beyoncé onto the stage.   The Jigga man served as the opening act Friday night (April 16th) and performed over 30 songs during his 2 hour set.  The Queen Bey helped close out the set when she sashayed on stage to step in for Mr. Hudson’s part on the BP3 track “Young Forever.”

When are they going to do an album together already??? That would certainly be the best of both worlds.

Singer Alicia Keys‘ “Freedom Tour” pulled into New York City last night (March 17) at Madison Square Garden, where she treated fans to a few surprise guests including Swizz Beatz, Jay-Z and Beyoncé.

Jay-Z joined Keys on stage for their version of Empire State of Mind, while Beyoncé hit the stage for part of “Put It In A Love Song.”

The energy in MSG was clearly on high octane.

Rapper Jay-Z premiered his official video for “On To The Next One” featuring Swizz Beatz, off the Blueprint 3, just minutes into 2010. And while the video is definitely open to interpretation, much talk has been had about the alleged free mason/illumanti references.
