Pop Icon Janet Jackson further proves her deep love for the LGBT community as she has taken on the role of executive producer of the documnentary ‘Being T.’ The documentary will give an insightful look into the lives of 12 male to female transsexuals living in New York City.
It is heart-warming to see a celebrity of Janet Jackson’s caliber lend her name, image, and most of all time to a project such as this. The original “We Are The World” track, written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and produced by Quincy Jones, is 25 years older with a new cause in sight. The original recording, which aimed to bring attention to famine is Africa and in fact raised $63 million for the cause, has been remade with a whole new set of voices and this time around the goal is relief in Haiti. Hey BGG readers! This is Soul and I’m back with my latest installment of Soul Wants to Know. Just some questions,thoughts, & comments on EVERYTHING & EVERYBODY!
So here we go…
1. Do you think Precious star, Gabby Sidibe, will get the Oscar for best actress? ( I mean we already know Mo’Nique got it, but Gabby should get one to).
2. Can someone tell me what the hell is that in Rihanna’s hair? Really what is that crawling out?
3. Not to be morbid, but why does it seem as if all the celebrities are dying as of late? ( All im saying is B better live forever, lol-R.I.P. Teddy Pendergrass)
4. Don’t you always miss the Wendy Williams show whenever she’s on break?( Even though I’ll stil watch the reruns)
5. How about they replace both Conan O’Brien and Jay Leno with somebody black! There’s absolutley no color on ABC, NBC, CBS late nite TV.
(I mean I know Wonda Sykes got that show on FOX, but do you watch it? EXACTLY!)
6. Okay not to be random, but does anyone else miss Danity Kane?( there music was the buisness IMO and BTW Dawn, this Dirty Money thing would be a NO)
