A day after her appearance on American Idol: Idol Gives Back, comedian Wanda Sykes dropped by the Ellen DeGeneres show. Wanda talked about wife Alex. the couple’s twins, Lucas and Olivia, and her recently received GLAAD award before giving her pick for the Idol win.

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen that many (I know it’s only 2) famous out lesbians on daytime TV before. It did my heart proud.

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres revealed her O magazine cover during Friday’s episode of her talk show. In fact, Ellen shot two different covers for the December issue: one cover that appears on newsstands (pictured aboved) and another cover for subscribers (after the jump). Oprah appears with Ellen in both covers. The issue, themed Joy, is set to hit newsstands November 12th.

Ellen and wife Portia DeRossi will appear on Monday’s episode (November 9) of The Oprah Winfrey Show to discuss her appearance on the magazine, her American Idol judge gig and domestic life with Portia.

Ellen DeGeneres introduced auto-tune to her audience yesterday (September 23) on her talk show. Ellen brought out rapper T-Pain for an auto-tune collaboration, giving the rapper a chance to talk about his “I Am T-Pain Auto-tune” I-Phone application and of course, dance.

VH1 Divas Live aired last Thursday. Did you catch it? We didn’t either. Honestly, the lineup wasn’t strong enough to pull us in. But luckily, video sharing has allowed us to enjoy all the hilarious highlights of this year’s host, Paul Abdul. American Idol may not have been able to see her value, but VH1 surely did.

Paula opened the show dressed like her Idol replacement Ellen DeGeneres, donning a short blonde wig dancing into the arena similar to how Ellen opens each episode of her talk show. That zany Paula! And you all thought she was bitter about being replaced. According to Paula, it was all in good fun and even suggested Ellen call her if she needs help handling Simon.

Not only did Paula host the show, but even treated the audience to a performance of some of her most popular songs.

It goes to show, can’t keep a good woman down. Especially when she’s on uppers. Just jokes. Paula Abdul doesn’t do drugs.
