Ex-gay pastor Donnie McClurkin delivered a sermon at the COGIC 102nd International Holy Convocation in Memphis, Tennessee last Saturday (November 7). During his sermon, he took shots at openly gay gospel singer Tonex and talks of how those of his generation have failed today’s youth, allowing them to fall prey to the perversions of homosexuality.
At one point, he implored homosexual youth to run down to the front of the stage and repent. (See 3rd video below). Damn near half the congregation made their way down front. smh.
This type of condemnation of homosexuality is no surprise coming from Donnie McClurkin. He’s built his career on it.

A new book titled, “Masters of Sex” by author Thomas Maier, calls into question whether William Masters & Virginia Johnson faked the conversion of gays and lesbians into heterosexuals back in the late 60s and 70s. The Masters & Johnson study, documented in their 1979 book “Homosexuality in Perspective,” has been used by countless ex-gay groups as scientific support to their claims they are able to turn gays into ex-gays.
Maier, who summarized his findings in Scientific American, explained:
Most staffers never met any of the conversion cases during the study period of 1968 through 1977…Marshall and Peggy Shearer, perhaps the clinic’s most experienced therapy team in the early 1970s, says they never treated homosexuals and heard virtually nothing about conversion therapy.
Maier further revealed: Read the rest of this entry »

April 8th, 2009Culture, Interviews, Politics
Pastor Donnie McClurkin has spoken very publicly in the past about his struggle with homosexuality and being
cured“delivered” from his homosexual ways. So that’s nothing new. What has garnered him new attention is a recent interview with Carrington Lei, wherein McClurkin likens his suppressed homosexuality to battling diabetes. Huh? Exactly! Now we all know those “ex-gay” camps and ministries are nothing more than a bunch of self-hating gays who got together and decided that because they’re not comfortable in their own skin, they’ll just go ahead and screw with the heads of vulnerable gay and lesbian men and women. We all do know that, right? Ok!
Well, from McClurkin’s interview with Lei, all I got was: 1) McClurkin doesn’t take kindly to parishioners who disagree with his stance on homosexuality, and 2) McClurkin wants some man-loving but is skurred. Hey, that’s just my interpretation.
Check out the interview for yourself: Read the rest of this entry »
