Kelly Rowland, Estelle and Cyndi Lauper were all in attendance and took the stage at the amfAR Inspiration Gala at The New York Public Library last night (June 3rd). Kelly and Estelle accompanied music icon Lauper on her classic hit, “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.”
Actress Zoe Saldana and designers Kenneth Cole and Jean Paul Gaultier were also in the building.
The event was hosted by singer Kylie Minogue; Gaultier and Ricky Martin were the night’s honorees.
amfAR is dedicated to ending the global AIDS epidemic through innovative research. It’s great to see celebs come together for a good cause.

The much anticipated duet from singers Jennifer Hudson and Leona Lewis for the Sex and The City 2 soundtrack has hit the net. The track, titled “Love Is Your Color,” is all about being your true self, which is very fitting for the film considering its inclusion of at least one gay subplot. Lil Kim joined Cyndi Lauper on stage Saturday night at the annual Mandela Day Concert held at Radio City Music Hall in New York to perform Lauper’s classic hit “Time After Time,” infused with lyrics from Kim’s “Lighters Up.” I know what you’re thinking, but they actually pulled it off.
The real question that come to mind is, could Lil Kim be embarking on a singing career?! Well, not so fast! Preparation, preparation, preparation.
Many others took the stage to honor Nelson Mandela in this celebratory affair, including Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah, Wyclef, Stevie Wonder and Will.I.Am, just to name a few. Mandela turned 91 years old on July 18.

The Fashion Against AIDS project is an initiative that seeks to bring awareness and resolution to the global epidemic of AIDS. In its second collaboration with H&M, 1,000 H&M stores in 30 countries will carry a collection of organic t-shirts designed by various celebrities starting May 28.
