Many are stepping forward to offer relief to the people of Haiti following the devastating earthquake that struck the island Tuesday evening (January 12).
Haitian-born rapper Wyclef Jean hit the media outlets immediately following the tragedy with a public plea for people to extend help to the victims of this the natural disaster. Wyclef, a notorious advocate for his homeland, established the non-profit Yele Haiti Foundation back in 2004, which provides scholarships for the country’s children.
