The NYPD search for super model Naomi Campbell for assaulting her limo driver has been called off less than 24 hours after the incident. Just yesterday we told you the supermodel was on the run after she slapped her 27 year-old limo driver in the face and fled the scene.

This morning, however, it’s reported the search has been called off after the driver, Miodrag Mejdina, decided not to press charges against Campbell. Mejdina, who is employed by Campbell’s married billionaire boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, was treated for him injuries, which included bruising and swelling under his eye.

Grammy award-winning singer Amy Winehouse has been charged with assualt. Say it aint so!

The troubled artist was charged with assault this past weekend for allegedly assaulting a theater owner  last week at the Milton Keynes Theater. Charged with a ” public order offense and common assault”, 26 year old Winehouse certainly needs to get it together.

She is such a BRILLIANT talent and her artistry extends far beyond her retro-soulful sound into fashion and popular culture.

Her and Lauryn Hill, two GREATS , ONE album each, ONE crazy man that sent each of them over the edge.

ABC & Diane Sawyer did not disappoint Friday night (November 6) during the 20/20 special interview of Rihanna. No honey, this certainly was not a replay of Chris Brown’s Larry King Live Interview. Rihanna appeared sincere, honest and forthcoming about the details of the assault at the hands of then-boyfriend Chris Brown back in February (2009). She also gave viewers and fans a glimpse into the mind and heart of a person in an abusive relationship and the series of emotions and decisions made before getting out.

Chris Brown sat down for yet again another interview about the assault on his then-girlfriend Rihanna back in February (2009). This time around, Brown gave an interview to MTV’s Sway, but still didn’t discuss any details from the night of the assault. So what did he have to say in this interview? *blank stare, blink, blink*

Rihanna sat down with Diane Sawyer for an interview that aired on Good Morning America (GMA) this morning (November 5). Rihanna reveals she was ashamed after the incident. Her shame and embarassment came from the fact she feel so deeply in love with someone who did what they did to her and she went back. When Sawyer commented that on average it takes a woman 7 times before they leave, Rihanna interjected, “8 or 9 actually,” talking her about herself.

Rihanna fought back tears as she spoke about the impact her assault at the hands of Chris Brown had on so many other young girls and her feeling of responsibility to those women. She called it her wake up call.

Former Alabama judge Herman Thomas’ trial began Monday (October 4) for the charges of sodomy, kidnapping, sex abuse, extortion, assault and ethics violations stemming from prisoner allegations Thomas demanded sexual favors in exchange for lighter sentences.

Thomas, who stepped down from the bench in 2007 after rumors of these allegations became more frequent, was first accused of such grave misconduct back in 2001 when an inmate filed a lawsuit against him.  According to that inmate, back in 1999 Thomas offered to help him with his case in exchange for sex.  Both lawsuits were dismissed.  Since then other inmates have stepped forward and described incidents of being checked out of jail for meetings with Thomas in his car and private office in the county courthouse.  It started with reports of inmates having to pull down their underwear for wooden paddle spankings then reports Read the rest of this entry »

Chris Brown was formally sentenced in a Los Angeles courtroom yesterday (August 25) after pleading guilty to felony assault stemming from the altercation between Brown and then girlfriend, Rihanna on Feb 8th.

Brown was sentenced to five years probation, an order to stay 50 yards from Rihanna, and six months of community labor in Virginia, which will consist of graffiti removal, cleaning and maintaining the grounds and washing the cars. The district attorney has allowed for Brown’s labor hours to be flexible in order to accommodate his entertainment career.
