Oh, that sneeky lil Rihanna. Last night, the pop princess abandoned her sensual ballad “Te Amo,” which she was originally scheduled to perform, for a harder, edgier track “Rockstar 101.” The track, featured on her “Rated R” album, is the new single to follow “Rude Boy.”
Hmmm. After the way viewers reacted to Adam Lambert’s televised gay kiss at the AMAs , we’re not surprised RiRi decided against performing such same gender loving lyrics. A shame really.

The AMAs are coming! The AMAs are coming! The American Music Awards will air live on Sunday, November 22nd and promises a lineup that will have audiences tuning in. The show opens with an 8-minute performance by Janet Jackson. And as if that wasn’t enough to pull you in, Whitney Houston is also set to hit the stage that night.
Other live performances include Rihanna, Jay-Z with Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga, just to name a few.
The AMAs will air on ABC at 8/7c.
