Nicki Minaj recently did a short interview with MTV News and promises fans her highly anticipated debut album will be released before the year ends, even though a firm release date has yet to be set (update: November 23).  Minaj has already dropped two singles, “Massive Attack” and “Your Love,” off her still untitled debut album.

The brilliant artist/songwriter/DJ extraordinaire recently did a photo shoot & interview for Refinery 29.  In addition to the STUNNING shots capturing this truly stylish beauty, it is her no-holds bar candidness that continues to make her a BLOG mainstay.   She has an unrelenting ability to be nobody but who she is, which makes her truly authentic and relatable unlike many of her contemporaries. Jazmine Sullivan is back with a new single “Holding You Down” (Goin’ In Circles) co-produced by Missy Elliott.  The new single gives you an old school 90’s vibe (Mary J.
