Another lawsuit is on the horizon for Oprah. Recently relocated to Philadelphia, the former head mistress from Oprah’s Leadership Academy for Girls claims because of Oprah, she can’t find a job. Apparently this chick ain’t get the memo…can’t nobody find a job Craig! Write your congressman lady. Instead she moved to America, listened to some slick talking lawyer, got pumped up and now she’s feeling froggy.

“Hate has no place in the house of God. No one should be excluded from our love, our compassion or our concern because of race or gender, faith or ethnicity — or because of their sexual orientation.” Those were the words of Archbishop Desmond Tutu in a touching open letter, written by the Archbishop and posted in the Washington Post this past Friday (March 12). The letter urged Africa’s politicians and citizens to take a stand against the wrong of discrimination based on sexual orientation. Tutu categorized the recent acts including, the jailing of a Malawi couple who sought to get married, consideration of a Ugandan bill to make homosexuality punishable by life imprisonment and the exclusion of gay men for HIV treatment at a clinic in Kenya as “terrible backward steps for human rights in Africa.”

The original “We Are The World” track, written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and produced by Quincy Jones, is 25 years older with a new cause in sight. The original recording, which aimed to bring attention to famine is Africa and in fact raised $63 million for the cause, has been remade with a whole new set of voices and this time around the goal is relief in Haiti. Diddy hosted his infamous annual White Party in Beverly Hills this past weekend on July 4. Diddy partied with a purpose as he raised money for the non-profit organization Malaria No More, an organization committed to ending the malaria crisis in Africa.
A gang of celebrities came out to enjoy the swanky event including: Ashton Kutcher, Cassie, Chris Brown, Amber Rose, Demi Moore, Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussy Cat Dolls, Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon, Tyrese and Lil Kim, just to name a few.
