We caught up with soul singer N’dambi during her visit to New York, one of many cities she’s breezed through on the promotion tour for her new album. Statuesque in appearance yet shy and disarming in demeanor, her full reddish brown afro, light brown eyes and striking features merely add to her allure. This soft-spoken singer from Dallas, Texas has come a long way from singing gospel in her hometown. Once a back-up singer for Erykah Badu, N’dambi sits just days away from the release of her new album, Pink Elephant, set to drop October 6. July 21st, 2009Celebrities, Interviews, Michael Jackson, Videos
Joe Jackson appeared on CNN’s Larry King Live last night in an interview about the life and death of his son Michael Jackson. Joe Jackson claims he first learned of Michael’s passing from the fans and admits he knew Michael was not well but couldn’t get to him like he should. Joe further shared his belief there was foul play behind the death of Michael Jackson.
Joe was joined in the interview by Michael’s music and concert promoter, Leonard Rowe, who also lent to the theory foul play was the source of Michael’s death. Rowe stated,
During Michael’s final days… there was a lot of suspicious activity going on in his surroundings. Michael Jackson’s life at the end was being controlled and manipulated. Michael Jackson was not allowed to make his own decisions, he was not allowed to hire who he wanted to hire to work for him. Michael Jackson was being told what to do and people was controlling Michael Jackson.” Who? “The same people that was controlling Michael Jackson financially, the people that was taking care of Michael Jackson, the people that was paying his bills. Those are the people who was controlling Michael Jackson.”
Rowe clarified who “those people” are when he stated, “The promoters that was promoting him in London, which was AEG… at the time of Michael’s death, they were the ones controlling Michael’s life.”
Joe Jackson went on to answer questions about whether he intends to get Michael’s children into show business, where Michael’s body is located, and whether he was ever physically abusive to Michael. Joes surprisingly denied he is separated from his wife Katherine Jackson, even though she resides in Los Angeles and he resides in Las Vegas.
