Lisa Raye’s new reality “Lisa Raye: The Real McCoy” premiered on TV One last night (April 8th) with two back to back episodes.

The premiere episode opened with her how you doin’ cousin/assistant Quincy getting Lisa ready for her Sister 2 Sister magazine interview. During the interview, Lisa candidly discussed her marriage to former Turks & Caicos Premier, Michael Misick. During a visit to Big Boy’s Neighborhood, actress Lisa Raye was asked about the supposed affair between BET’s 106 & Park co-host Rocsi and her ex-husband Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick. While Raye couldn’t dish all the T, when asked whether Rocsi was involved with her husband, Raye responded, “there’s a reason why you would see pictures of her at my house, and she wasn’t invited by me.” Raye even went on to say, “I didn’t even know they knew each other.”

While an upcoming trial matter prevented her from speaking more about Rocsi’s involvement with her ex-husband, she promised Big Boy “you gonna hear all about it.”

We can’t wait for Lisa Raye’s reality show to drop.

Lisa Raye has been thrown under the bus by countless psuedo-friends and former castmates. Remember when Chris Rock’s brother, Tony Rock, who used to star with Raye on “All of Us” called her a bitch during one of his comedy shows at The Improv in D.C and blamed her for the show’s cancellation?

We can’t believe it either.  You can imagine the shock when we opened our inbox this morning to find an email from our friends over at The YBF professing just that.  However, they have been spotted out together at several events – the NAACP Awards, Michael Jackson’s funeral and now Congressional Black Caucus weekend – on each other’s arm.

According to YBF, Lisa Raye and Al Sharpton have been “getting it in for the last few months.”

Actress Lisa Raye has signed on with TV One for her own reality show.  Cameras will follow Raye as she attempts to revive her acting career while juggling a tumultuous personal life.  Shot in both Los Angeles and on the island of Turks & Caicos, where Raye was First Lady while married to former Premier Michael Misick, the show will focus on her acting career, guiding her 19 year-old daughter Kai into adulthood, keeping her incarcerated sister, Da Brat, in line, taking care of her ailing mother and managing a love life.  All of this packed into eight half-hour shows.  Whew!

The show is set to premiere spring 2010.
