[Video] Willow Smith Releases New Single “Whip My Hair”

So nine year old Willow Smith, daughter of megastars Will & Jada Smith will be realeasing her debut album soon. Recently her new single “Whip My Hair” has been released and has been receiving rave reviews and comparisons to Pop music’s superstar Rihanna. The album has yet to be titled, but it has been confirmed that Willow has signed with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label. Will & Jada recently spoke on deciding the proper label for their daughter.

“After meeting with several record companies, it was clear that JAY-Z, Ty Ty, Jay Brown and the Roc Nation staff was the unquestionable choice. Their passion for Willow combined with their boundless vision and artistic integrity made Roc Nation the perfect home for our little girl.”

Jay-Z also went on to add :

We at Roc Nation are excited to work with Willow. She has an energy and enthusiasm about her music that is truly infectious. It’s rare to find an artist with such innate talent and creativity at such a young age. Willow is about to embark on an incredible journey and we look forward to joining her as she grows in all aspects of her career.”

It was only a matter of time before little Willow stepped on the scene; considering the success of her parents and her brother Jaden Smith. Willow captured everyone’s attention with her incredible fashion sense and style earlier this year and she’s now prepared to add her input to the Smith family’s empire. There has also been talk of a potential fashion line in the works for Willow as well.
