[Video] R. Kelly & Trey Songz Release New Music

Well the “King of R&B,” R. Kelly, has returned with his new single “When A Woman Loves” off the forthcoming album “Love Letter.” The single has a very old-school feel and could’ve been a hit back in the 50’s and 60’s – strong and emotional vocals, supported by live instrumentation reminiscent of some of his past works (i.e. “If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time”).
According to a representative from Jive Records, there is still no release date, but this is one of three albums slated to drop from the R&B crooner. The singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer has finally returned to the smooth R&B formula that made him the R. Kelly we all grew to love. His last album “Untitled” received lack-luster reviews and album sales, but he is now prepared to reclaim his throne as the “King of R&B”. We’ll see…
Admittedly inspired by R.Kelly, the very busy Trey Songz has also released another video for his latest single “Can’t Be Friends” off his upcoming album “Passion, Pain, & Pleasure” (September 14th). Check it out!
