Some people like her and some people don’t, but songwriter turned singer Keri Hilson is back with her new single “Breaking Point,”  written by her and produced by Timbaland.

As the lead single for her sophomore album “No Boys Allowed,” Keri sings about being fed up with men and their lame excuses and  finally reaches her “breaking point.”  When asked about the song Keri stated, “If you’re not man enough to step to the plate, then keep it moving.”

Keri seems to be on her Mary J. Blige vibe on this track.  Actually, it sounds like she should’ve sold this song to Mary and it would’ve had more depth and emotion.  Keri sings the song well, but on this particular song she just doesn’t have the conviction in her voice that she was going for or maybe it’s just me?

One last thing, that picture above looks like she has reached her “Breaking Point.”
