Singer Fantasia Overdoses On Pills Following Lawsuit Alleging Affair With Married Man

Singer and reality star Fantasia Barrino was rushed to Carolinas Medical Center-Pineville around 8:55p.m. last night (August 9th). While in stable condition now, it’s reported Fantasia overdosed on a combo of aspirin and sleeping pills. It hasn’t been confirmed whether the overdose was intentional or not but her reps are claiming “she was totally overwhelmed by the lawsuit and media attention” surrounding news of the lawsuit and details alleged within. The lawsuit her rep is referring to, of course, is the one initiated by Paula Cook, the wife of Antwaun Cook, Fantasia’s alleged boyfriend.

According to papers filed, Paula is seeking child support from her estranged husband Antwaun and alleges a “covert adulterous affair” between him and Fantasia that began in August 2009 when the two met at a T-Mobile store, where Antwaun was employed.

Paula is further claiming Fantasia and Antwaun even recorded their “illicit activity” on two separate occasions (code for sex tape).

Fantasia, however, continues to deny the relationship and claims she is “not responsible” for the deterioration of the marriage, despite having tattooed “Cook” above her heart (to match his) and being photographed in the past on several different occasions spending “quality time” with Antwaun.

This is a sad situation. How you got him (or her) is how you’ll lose ‘em. What’s done in the dark will be brought to the light. Has no one heard of these sayings before??? There’s a reason they’ve stood the test of time. smdh

Just pitiful, what did she think was going to happen to her world when she started laying up with a married man now that she has money? And a sex tape? Give me a break, that’s as dumb as putting on that silly tat with his name, find a clue ‘tasia before tis too late.
