Mary J. Blige Sets Record With New “My Life” Fragrance

Mary J. Blige partnered with the popular beauty company Carol’s Daughter and HSN (Home Shopping Network) to release her new fragrance “My Life”. Mary sold 50,000 bottles in just the first day of sales, which is remarkable considering the fragrance could only be purchased online or on TV (HSN).

My Life is a combination of pear, jasmine, walnut, tuberose, sesame, and wood, creating a soft, yet pungent aroma. Mary personally describes her new fragrance to RTT News,

“It’s all a reflection of my personality. Me and a lot of my fans want to smell soft and a little fruity — but not too fruity with bees chasing us around — and also strong and beautiful … It’s all there.”

My Life is sold at a reasonable fifty-five dollars and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FAWN), which helps disadvantaged young women have the opportunity to attend college.

Congratulations to the Queen! She is loving life and giving back to women everywhere.

Not really a fan of Mary’s at all, but, I did order a bottle for my sister and after watching her she was quite impressive with her low key personality and her warmness with people who called in to talk to her and that some of the coins go to a chairty is all good as well.
