Harlem’s own, Infinite has released her first album entitled “Harlem’s Daughter” on Pathway Records.  On this project, lesbian rapper/producer Infinite teamed up with some of the elite LGBT artists: Baron, Bry’Nt, Bone Inell, King Jabbar, Medino Green, and Last Offence.  She also teamed with popular transgender artists Miss Teary and Empress Milan.  As a follow-up to her mixtapeAbomination”, Infinite has returned with a collection of thirteen gritty and rhythmic bass heavy tracks, with an “in your face” approach.

Infinite has a very aggressive flow, but she loves to switch it up from time to time.  On songs likeMy Life”, Infinite invites us into her world.  Expressing the personal trials she’s faced and things she’s witnessed in the streets of Harlem; as the chorus sings “this is my life, my pain, my struggle, my song”.

As the album continues, Infinite speaks openly about her sexuality.  On “Ride That Pole” Infinite makes it abundantly clear that she loves the ladies; painting a strip club imagery in your mind while chanting “ride that pole” repeatedly throughout the song.  Infinite further expresses her love for the ladies on “Booty Poppin” and “Dip It Low”.  “Dip It Low” is an uptempo dance track instructing the ladies to do just as the song says, and “Dip It Low”.

Overall, Infinite continues to grind with tracks like “We Getting Money 4 Real” and “Need That Money”.  Infinite also shows her softer side on “Raindrops” while accompanied by a male vocalist.  Attempting to bridge the gap between gay/lesbian artists and mainstream artists, Infinite is representing Harlem and the LGBT community; as “Harlem’s Daughter.”

  1. I can’t stand these songs that portray lifestyles that these artists are not really living. We getting money for real…4 Real? Forgive me if I’m a little skeptical.

  3. I’m feeling Infinite she represents for women rappers in the community. Music is about storytelling and entertaining. You don’t have to live everything you rap about.

  16. Hmmm, it’s like the rap we already hear (that I don’t really care for anyway) but it’s from a lesbian… Well I’m all about supporting LGBT women and men in the arts and all but I’m stuck here. None the less I do wish her and other LGBT women and men in the arts much success no matter what, so long as they stay true to the community. Also what is the deal with butch lesbians/studs/AGs or what have you always looking so angry??? I mean I know you’re in tune with your masculine side and kudos to you for that but goodness I thought gay meant happy? Not angry, happy. Smile :)

  20. I just listened to her music and it is corny. Sounds like everything else that I have already heard. Keep your day job. She sounds like a man and theirs so much aggression in her voice that you can hardly hear her flow.

  21. I personally enjoy Infinite’s music! I found that her style reflects urban life… In my opinion we may be in different places today but we are start from bottom and work up.I cant wait see more from this artist
