The Bi-deology Project is a new documentary web-series that explores the experiences of self-identified straight women who date bisexual men. With the overly sensationalized media focus on the “down low” bisexual man and the assumed negative relationships women have with them, The Bi-deology Project aims to open dialogue on the uniqueness of these mixed orientation relationships and what women can learn from men who don’t have an exclusive straight sexual identity. Exposing both the positive and negative, the series does not come from a “bashing” perspective.
The Bi-deology Project is the brainchild of director Arielle Loren, who conceived the project after her own personal experience with a self-identified bisexual man.
It’s no secret, bisexuals are the segment of our community often scoffed at and dismissed as being nothing more than fence-straddlers. Like one of the girls in the video stated, and I have to agree, it’s a sad time to be a bisexual man with bisexual women being so revered and accepted; yet and still, bisexual men remain misunderstood.
Truth be told, there are many members of our community who believe they are bisexual but felt forced by the community to “pick a side,” so they identify as gay or lesbian. With regard to men especially, it’s often believed bisexual men are as real as pink unicorns. smh.
The Bi-deology Project will be released monthly online featuring celebrity guests, bloggers, ordinary women, and sexuality experts.

Many do, just never figure it out. RT @aliyasking: Ladies, would you date an openly bisexual man? [link to post] -

@Aqua174 Plus there’s some dudes that have had “experiences” but don’t classify themselves as bi sexual -
@ZenobiaK What do you think of that? I tend to lean to you’re either one or the other, with gray area meaning you’re confused. -
I stumbled upon this site on Yahoo and just wanted to take some time to say thanks for the excellent dating tips you have written about on this article.

I was excited when I stumbled upon your website and the video topic “The Bi-Deology Project”. I have been dating a bi-sexual man for almost a year now and I couldn’t be more in love or happier than I am today, I’m so thankful that we met. The reason for me writing is bi-sexual men are very misunderstood by the, male, gay community. My son is gay and most all my friends are gay as well and most of them never believed in bisexuality and all men considering themselves bi-sexual had to be gay and they were using women as a cover. When I tell you that they couldn’t be further from the truth when it comes to my boyfriend believe me he is without a doubt bi-sexual and I will explain why. My boyfriend does not want a relationship with a man he wants that closeness with a woman and what he has with a male is, plain and simple, sex. That’s all he wants and I knew from day one, he has never ever tried to hide it from me and as long as he doesn’t see another woman I’m very happy with the way things are between us. I have had only a handful of relationships and not one of those men had been able to bring me to orgasm (2 were ex-husbands)! We do not want marriage and we do not want to live with each other either as life would become to routine after that. In closing, the day he came into my life was meant to be and I will never question that fate, I love him with all of my heart and he lets me know how he feels by his actions, as he is not big on words but his expressions of love he shows me every time we are together! I hope I have made some of you understand the difference between a gay man and a bi-man and that people shouldn’t be so judgmental of others as long as no one is hurting anyone else people should mind their own business! Thank you for starting this project and having a place to be able to respond to it!
