We here at BlackGAYGossip.com have adopted a new phrase into our vocabulary. You may see it start popping up in posts here and there. So, it’s only right we explain the origin.

That new phrase? “wee-weed up”

The origin? President Obama.

Allow us to explain.

Corbin Bleu, from Disney’s “High School Musical,” has moved on with a new show, “The Beautiful Life.” Created and produced by Ashton Kutcher, The Beautiful Life is a scripted show that follows the life of two teenage models that embark on a career as high-fashion models but soon find out the world of modeling isn’t always as glamorous as it seems. Bleu plays Isaac Taylor, an up-and-coming model.

“The Beautiful Life” premieres September 16th on the CW network.

Kim Zolciak, from Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” has been the butt of many jokes and widely criticized ever since she declared in Season 1 her intentions to embark on a music career. Most were doubtful she would even find a production team to help her. Remember when super-producer Dallas Austin hit her with a no ma’am. Well, Kim has made her music career a reality with her first single, “Tardy For The Party,” written and co-produced by “Atlanta Housewife” Kandi Burruss. She previewed it earlier this week on Ryan Seacrest’s morning radio show.

It’s amazing what folks can pull off in the studio nowadays. Auto-tune anyone!

After Nelly was spotted around town with the likes of Melyssa Ford and some mystery lady friend, speculation started to brew that things were not right with Nelly and longtime girlfriend Ashanti.  Well, The New York Daily News has confirmed the couple has definitely called it quits.

What makes this news surprising is that just this past March, Ashanti stated marriage was “absolutely in the cards.”  I guess Nelly was playing with a different deck.  According to the NYDN, Nelly and Ashanti’s 4 year romance came to end because Nelly wasn’t ready to settle down.

Too bad.  They really made a cute couple.

There’s been some back and forth as to whether singer Omarion was booted from him label, Young Money Records or whether it was his decision to leave.  It all started Tuesday night when Mack Maine tweeted “Omarion is no longer Young Money… the song leaked ft. Wayne is not official…good luck 2 him in his future endeavors..no further comment.”  Once Omarion got word, the next day he tweeted, “There’s a lot of people thinking I got dropped from Young Money.  That has never nor will ever be the case.  I asked to be released.  I didn’t get dropped.  I wish Wayne and all of Young Money good luck for there future… no hard feelings.”  The leaked track Maine is referring to is “I Get It In.”

South African runner Caster Semenya is blowing past the competition at the World Championships in Berlin but instead of being able to enjoy her win, she’s caught up in a swirl of speculation over her gender. The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAFF) has asked Semenya to take a gender verification test to prove she is a woman. Yes, you heard me right.

On Wednesday, Semenya won the 800 meters race with a time of 1 minute, 55.45 seconds. The second place winner and defending champion Janeth Jepkosgei finished at 1 minute, 57.90 seconds. The request for gender verification was initially made after Semenya ran the fastest 800-meter time at the African junior championships, which took place before the Berlin games.
