Actor Isaiah Washington is the latest celebrity to join celebrity photographer Adam Bouska’s NoH8 Campaign, a photo project & silent protest against the passage of Prop 8.  Washington’s participation may come as a shock to many following the very public debacle back in 2007 stemming from his usage of anti-gay slurs on the set of Grey’s Anatomy,  ultimately leading to his dismissal from the cast.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Washington states,  “I don’t want to be on any team that represents hate on either side of the fence…  I’m here because it’s the right thing to do… This is my answer to those who think I support the way they think… There are a lot of people out there that are against this campaign…because they don’t understand….But I’m big enough  and bad enough to say you’re wrong. ”
