Gay Michigan Man Stands Trial For Biting Neighbor & Using HIV As A Weapon

An HIV-positive gay man from Michigan is set to stand trial for biting his neighbor during a fight and using HIV as a weapon. Daniel Allen from Clinton Township, Michigan admitted to reporters that he is HIV positive and he did bite his neighbor Winfred Fernandis, Jr., but contends it was out of self-defense. Fernandis fought back the tears when Fox 2 news broke the news that his neighbor is HIV positive and denies that he is homophobic.

Fernandis has been put on anti-retro viral drugs since the fight.

I feel like this story is exploiting the gay black man with HIV angle in this story. I don’t believe that he was trying to give the man HIV. It’s very hard to transfer through biting. And most likely, the person who is biting might be more at risk than the person being bitten, unless the biter had a bleeding mouth.

My opinion is that a HIV positive person who barebacks, shares needles and bites people should be charged with attempted murder. The homophobes will use this biting incidents to gain more members.

The media is failing to report Mr Fernandis and other neighbors harassed Mr Allen for a period of 4-5 yr calling him gay coming on his property threatening him. Mr Allen continously called the police no action were taken against Mr Fernandis. The nature of events led to Mr Fernandis along with several of his family members coming onto Mr Allen property and beating him. Mr Allen fought for his life as other neighbors watched the brutal beating. Mr Allen was left covered in blood from Mr Fernandis and his family members attack. Not to mention Mr Fernandis allegation of being bitten false false false and justice shall prevail. There is something truly wrong with a system that allows Mr Ferndandis to go onto another mans property and brutally beat another human being and not get arrested or charged. He had no business on Mr Allens property Google Daniel Allen and study all the media footage and weigh in
