It seems the National Enquirer, a source we don’t typically frequent or rely on, got exclusive photos of Queen Latifah at a private all female stripper party. Latifah and about fifteen of her girlfriends enjoyed the company of two female strippers at a two-bedroom townhome in New Jersey.

According to a source, “Queen Latifah is part of a regular group, and she was egging on the strippers to be as outrageous as they could be.” Hmmm, so was Queen’s visits to girl party Eden last month (August) just another group meeting? The source further revealed there was full on nudity by the strippers, “a lot of drinking at these gatherings and lots of music. Some of the ladies get so amorous that they pair off together.”

Damn Queen! You got a traitor in your ranks. Or is this some new-age way of coming out of the closet?

Now we’re not saying there’s anything wrong with a woman being entertained by female strippers, but lesbihonest, it’s not something frequented by many opposite gender loving women unless their man is by their side. Just an observation.

So is this coming out on September 14th, 2009? That’s the date on the bottom of the “newspaper”, if you can all the National Enquirer a newspaper. So they’re leaking the story early? Hummmmm whatever. It’s No Body’s business what this woman does nor who she chooses to do it with. WTF people, leave it alone already!!!

She’s a GROWN AZZ woman. Seriously. Love her as an artist, love her work, but as for the rest… NONEYA. I doubt whoever she loves has ANYTHING to do with her talent so does it even MATTER?

It’s one of those things that it’s BECAUSE she’s in the closet that all this stuff is coming out. Even her own damn people are throwing her under this bus. Think about it. This was supposed to be a private group event, so how these pictures came out? The crazy thing is if she wasn’t in hiding people really wouldn’t care as much.

The reason Queen gets this press is because it’s STUPID to be in the closet in 2009. NO, I don’t wanna know every private detail of her life. NO, I don’t care what she does in the bedroom. But when you’re this big of a celebrity, obviously hiding you’re sexuality like you’re ashamed or something, then you’re part of the problem and not the solution.

I agree. What saddens me about it as a black gay woman is that Queen Latifah started her career as a pioneer. A female rapper back in the 80s kicking down doors, not caring what anyone thought as she brought a “this is me” kind of bravado to an industry dominated by men and rejected by mainstream. She was the epitome of strength for women of color at that time. I miss THAT Queen Latifah

Wow! Well put M_Boogie. It’s true. Hip hop wasn’t accepted by mainstream the way it is now. MTV wouldn’t even dare play it but that didn’t stop Queen from being part of the outcast, demonized group then. Now look how far hip hop has come. It’s the same thing with gay culture. Yeah, we’ve been the outcast demonized group but change will come. Please believe it!

i love the queen, gay or not. i think part of the reason she doesnt officially open her mouth and say it is bc its kinda fun to have people paying this much attention to you. she will always be talked about. i promise if she came out her name would pop up a lot less on google. this picture would not have made it into any magazines bc people would just be like oh, shes w a woman…big surprise. just like when she surprised her girlfriend w a new car at the cafe where they were eating, she didnt try to hide it bc thats what she wanted to do. just by the look on her face, she is out and proud. her telling the media that shes not disclosing anything and that her life is to stay private is her natural response to people not leaving her the fuck alone. i think shes really just kind of being a smart ass and i love it. all hail the queen
