Lil Mama Issues Apology To Vogue Evolution’s Leiomy

America’s Best Dance Crew judge Lil Mama issued an apology to Vogue Evolution group member Leiomy and the LGBT community in a statement released by GLAAD for her comments made on Sunday’s (August 30) show.

Lil Mama stated,
I would like to clarify anything that was misunderstood from Sunday’s show. My remarks were never meant to be disrespectful regarding Leiomy’s gender nor offensive to the LGBT community, which has been a community that has supported me in all my endeavors. However, in hindsight, I recognize that my words may have come across as hurtful. I spoke with her privately after the taping to express that it was not my intent to offend her or any member of the transgender community and that I still live for Vogue Evolution.

my husband and i saw and heard what lil mama said to leiomy and we both looked at each other in disbelief! we are not gay nor are we into any gay activism, but right is right and wrong is wrong. lil mama had NO reason what so ever to say that to Leiomy. ok we ALL know that gender wise he is a man. what he chooses to do with himself is between him and The Almighty. In my opinion lil mama had something aginst Leiomy. All she had to say was the way you acted seemed unappropriated because your crew needs you. WHY but oh WHY try to throw that in Leiomy’s face? she’s basically saying, as much as you try face your truth, you will never get to where you are trying to go. not good lil mama. not good and you better have apologized, but she should have done that on MTV. but what ever, she ain’t nothin’ anyway. misery loves company.

Lil mama can go to hell, What she said was so unforgivable and Leiomy did not deserve it. Leiomy was the best THE BEST I knew that vouge evolution was goin to the top

If you watch that episode before they announced who was going home Leiomy was already cracking up because what she said after what lil mama said, She KNEW they were goin home, But this isnt her fault its Lil mama if she didnt say that Leiomy and the rest of vouge evolution would have been AMERICAS BEST DANCE CREW
